The Basic research in Bone and Cartilage – BBC meeting
Every two years, we organize a free meeting in Nantes to bring together leading international and national researchers in the field of bone and cartilage, with a particular focus on basic research.
BBC is a series of state-of-the-art conferences and a format that allows time for discussion with the speakers and allow scientific exchanges and stimulate the possible establishment of collaborative networks.
Because of the covid-19 pandemy, BBC was not held in 2021 but was back in 2022, for a fourth edition that has been dedicated to pathological vascular and valvular calcification. BBC4 has taken place on 29 and 30 September in Nantes.
Les Journées de la Société Française de Biologie des Tissus Minéralisés – JFBTM
This is a 2.5-day format meeting organized with our national society during which PhD students and post-docs have the great opportunity to present their most recent data to our community. International and national speakers are also invited. The next « Days of the French Society of Biology of Mineralized Tissues » will be held in Sète from May 22 to 24, 2023.

We are members of the European Calcified Tissue Society (ECTS), the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) and the Bone Marrow Adiposity Society (BMAS).
The next ASBMR meeting will take place in Vancouver, Canada, form October 13-16, 2023; the next ECTS congress will be held in Liverpool, England, from April 15-18, 2023.
