Research interest

Our group aims to better understand the fundamental aspects of skeletal physiology and pathophysiology in humans and mice by studying the relationships between bone/cartilage tissues and other important tissues present in the skeleton: vessels and adipocytes.

To this aim, we explore the multifaceted roles of phosphate ion in specific pathophysiological contexts through the study of the cellular and physiological functions of the PiT proteins.
